5 WAYS HOW I’M LEARNING TO LIVE WITH “MS”

Spread the love

Hiiiii. First, thank you for being here and taking the time to read this. It’s been a while. I’m very private, so for me to share this part of my life … well, it took me a while… a whole lotta talking to Infinite Intelligence, and all I came up with was… I hope sharing this helps someone ANYONE!

I’m going to begin by writing that accepting the reality of Multiple Sclerosis was a journey in itself.

I hope you don’t have to go through it.

One of the biggest adjustments has been learning to listen to my body and forgiving myself. There are days when fatigue sets in, and I’ve learned to honor that by resting and pacing myself.

What I really want to share with this post is how I transformed a negative diagnosis into a positive outlook on life.

1. I rediscovered joy through creative expression in my daily life. I laugh more than ever. My husband, MY PERSONAL comedian, keeps me laughing day and night. We laugh at anything and everything. But if he’s not around, I laugh at myself, by myself, and with myself. Put it to you this way: I milk it.

2. Building a POSITIVE support system… Nothing, zero, nada, of negativity, stress, or dwelling on past BS. If you can Keep anything or anybody that causes stress far, far away, do so! Please don’t feel bad. Please do it for yourself and your health.

3. Learn to RELAX; I had to learn this with MS. (lol). Take time to listen to the music you enjoy, the book you want to read, the movie you want to watch, or even the series you want to binge on. Don’t feel guilty. Go relax; trust me, the MS will love you for it.

4. Embracing Creativity: I’ve found that engaging in creative activities brings me immense joy. Whether it’s coloring, writing, or cooking, expressing myself creatively has become a vital part of my routine. It helps me channel my feelings and find a sense of purpose.

  5. Educating Myself I’ve made it a priority to learn as much as I can about MS, its symptoms, and treatment options. Knowledge empowers me to make informed decisions about my health… or anything else I want to learn about.

BONUS: Practicing more Mindfulness. Check out link 🔗 EXPRESSING GRATITUDE IN ADVANCE

mindfulness practices, such as meditation, lots of prayer, lots of gratitude affirmations and deep-breathing exercises. These moments of calm allow me to center myself and reduce stress, making it easier to navigate the challenges that come with MS

On tough days, I remind myself that feeling frustrated or down is okay.

‘This too shall pass!

I’m a believer in a Greater power, God, Infinite Intelligence whatever that’s Positive, and the Creator of this magnificent, beautiful universe.

I will link below the positive messages that I listen to that keep me going when I feel weak and want to give up.

But I also must thank publicly FOR My wonderful human being of a husband that this universe has blessed me with.

He’s so thoughtful, always wanting to ensure I have ZERO stress and no worries.

Thank you for your patience and healing love!

MS to ME stands for:

**My SERENITY**

**My SUCCESS**

**My SUPERPOWER**
