Spread the love

Start with yourself. Heal yourself. Love yourself. Be yourself. It all begins with you!

This post is dedicated to my beautiful nieces. I love you to the moon and back🌚⭐🌞

  • Be selective about the people you spend time with since they will have an impact on you.

  • “Believe people when they reveal who they are.” Maya Angelou

  • This, too shall pass. No problem stays forever. Every problem comes and goes.

  • Strive to get rid of the things that aggravate you. Reduce the list of irritations.

  • It won’t be a secret if the person you are dating is genuinely into you.

  • There is a difference between feeling better and improving.

  • Don’t let fear keep you from doing the things you want to do. Do it afraid.

  • Share your gifts with the world.

  • Don’t let pain turn you cold and heartless. Use your story to help others.

  • Believe in yourself. You will do AMAZING things in your life.

  • Don’t keep what you know to yourself. Share it with others, whether a recipe or a great beauty product.

  • Always have a book you can’t put down.

  • If you have a job you detest, look for another job and leave the one you hate. It should make you happy to wake up rather than make you feel irritated going to work.

  • No matter how minor the choice, it has an impact on how you feel about yourself.

  • Avoid tensing up. Make your home a calm place.

  • Only if you do will life remain unchanged.

  • Be conscious of the fact that one choice has the power to alter everything.

  • Your strengths serve as your purpose’s compass.

  • Reject the idea that life is difficult and must be endured. To thrive is to live.

  • Avoid dating someone you wish to save or fix. (Make no one your project)

  • Avoid committing to a relationship with someone who lacks empathy.

  • Make a decision about the kind of life you desire, then build your life around that goal.

  • Take a lesson from others’ successes to avoid wasting your time.

  • Life gets better if you’re in the correct relationship. Period.
  • Show more attention to what others are saying than to what you have to say.

  • Get married to your best friend.

  • Friends come, and some friends go. The ones that are meant to be in your life will always be.

  • Live in the now. By Living in the moment, you will have so many memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Everyone has something to teach you.

  • Avoid being a victim. Don’t live your life with a victim mentality. It makes you look needy.

  • Create your own schedule and include lots of little things that make you happy.

  • Establish boundaries with the people in your life.

  • Never allow someone else to decide how you should feel about yourself.

  • Don’t put your needs last just to please others.

  • The quicker you let it go, the fewer sleepless nights you will have. (trust my words on this one.) lol

  • Share your flaws; it makes you relatable to another.

  • Avoid attempting to blame your parents for what they did or did not do. Just take ownership of your own healing.

  • Pay attention to people’s actions; they speak louder than words.

  • Perform at least one activity you enjoy each day.

  • Always be sincere; it will ease your burden.

  • Don’t feed your ego. Feed your soul.

  • If you’re broken, you’ll pick another broken person.

  • Avoid responding emotionally to situations right away. First, think.

  • Every day, leave something unsaid. (I’m still learning this one.) 🤦🏾‍♀️

  • People’s actions and words have much more to do with them than with you.

  • Avoid doing something that must remain a secret.

  • You are more powerful than you realize.

  • Be confident.

  • Greet total strangers with a smile. (Listen to your intuition with this one.)

  • Simple decency speaks volumes.

  • Be considerate, be kind.

  • Develop your own coping mechanisms.

  • Communicate freely about issues; many issues can be resolved quicker than you think if you just talk it out.

  • Make plans for enjoyable things you can look forward to.

  • The road to joy is one of thankfulness. Be grateful, show it, and say it.

  • “Until you do, nothing works.” Maya Angelou

  • You are aware of the solution.

  • Don’t ignore your gut instincts. They are trying to tell you something.

WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

Yes, You read that right. We are taught to care what others think about us from a young age. But if you really think about it now, what ANYONE thinks of you should be of NO concern to you. Trust me, this took me many years to master. I FINALLY got the art of tuning it...
